I am an Independent Financial Representative; I focus on what I call a “Customer Centered “investment philosophy. Unlike many others in the financial industry I do not believe or practice any kind of “cookie cutter “financial planning, nor am I wedded to any one particular product or investment style. I understand that every customer is unique in their investments needs.Over the years I have had very good success mentoring and guiding talent, so I have decided to formalize this service and add it to my business model. I act mostly as a talent manager overseeing the day to day business affairs of an artist; to advise and counsel talent about professional matters and personal decisions which may affect their career. Fees and commissions are negotiable and I like to create a customized package for each individual. A lot depends on what kind of industry you are in and at what level of success you have already achieved. My style is to listen; let the customer share their experience, life style, goals and unique point of view. I then make recommendations based solely on the suitability to the uniqueness of the customer. Then I try to nurture the investment process along. So weather you’re a novice or a very sophisticated investor I specialize in Global Private Asset Management for extra ordinary investors with unusual careers, Institutional portfolio management, small business retirement planning and fixed income and equity trading, mutual funds, Investment Advisory Services, options and a full range of brokered CD’s.. I also operate a private hedge fund out of the same office. I offer a global perspective on a local level. I have clients in 40 countries and about 20 states and offer FREE portfolio reviews to all new clients big or small.www.jamesfoytlin.com The Elliott Wave Theory was the work of R.N. Elliott, who observed more than a half-century ago that stock market movements unfold in a series of rhythmic patterns which are based on a natural progression of shifts in mass investor psychology. As market participants vacillate between greed and fear, price patterns develop. These price patterns are called waves.
I am a practitioner of my own brand of the Elliott Wave Theory. I am not a purist but I subscribe to the basic principles behind the Elliott Wave Theory. The Elliott Wave Theory interprets market actions in terms of recurrent price structures. Basically, Market cycles (WAVES) are composed of two major types of Wave: Impulse Wave and Corrective Wave. For every impulse wave, it can be sub-divided into 5 - wave structure (1-2-3-4-5), while for corrective wave, it can be sub-divided into 3 - wave structures (a-b-c).In this fashion the Elliott Wave Theory tracks the ebbs and flows of the market.
The most difficult part of Elliott Wave analysis is correctly labeling and counting the waves, another words trying to figure out what wave pattern you are in and were you are in that wave pattern. Like most forms of investing hind site is always 20/20.

For many of you this may come as shock, but I was a punk rocker back in 1977! Yes I did it all ,met the Damned, Souxie, Sid ,Johny Thunders, Joey, and Johny Ramone, Cindy Lauper,Richard Hell ,Howard Devoto, Billy Idol, the Stranglers ,Buzzcock ,999 and many more .I saw the Clash the first and second time they played in the US at the Palladium, Iggy Pop when he got out of rehab on Halloween with the Plasmatics and the Cramps and Siff Little Fingers in Belfast Northern Ireland . I was there when Stive Baiters threaten Johny Rotten. The "east village "look was king .You name them I saw met em ,or hung with em . I heard all the 1980s new wave all in the late 70s. So while the world was Disco crazy we were burning the house at Irving Plaza ,the Mudd Club ,Maxs Kanas, the Ritz ,Harah and many more. It was a very special time in New York. The City was mean and dangerous but crazy fun anything went, live music was everywhere and it was very easy to mingle with all the movers and shakers of the punk era.
