A place like Project Reach allows young people to hang out and be ourselves without being judged. Everyone (including staff members) are fairly friendly and open-minded human beings who tries to help people within the community. It doesn't matter if you're lgbtq, someone from a different culture/country/speaks a different language, or someone without money because you are able to be free and can speak your mind freely. Everyone tries not to be stereotypical or judgemental.
There is a policy that says there MUST be at least 50% womyn because we do not allow men to dominate anything. There are 1/3 of young people and staff are queer folks because no one is allowed to gay bash anyone.
