About Me

Hi,I'm Liz and I'm originally from Hampshire, moved to London when I was a kid, moved around a lot and am now back in Hampshire living in Fareham nr Portsmouth with my lovely other half. I'm a professional singer but do other stuff like vocal coaching at chichester College as well as privately, and have a new part time job working with kids for the Wessex Youth Offending Team! At the moment you will find me strutting my ass and my vocal cords around the country in a big band called Saturday Night Beaver. It's a cool 70's tribute act playing all the sounds of the disco and yes we are pretty good!!!!! Im also a session singer who needs to get off her ass and get some more work...Most of the stuff I do has been through knowing the right people rather than being pro-active, I'm bloody poo at doing this so must try harder (note to self). Other than that I'm funny, I'm weird, I'm silly and I love life, friends, music and wine and I'm great at helping people love their lives too. Life is too short to not let yourself be happy, we're a long time gone!!!See Ya x

My Interests

Singing, especially soul/pop etc, writing, painting, home programmes, reality tv, acting like a fool, world food, or just food, going to gigs, sleeping, peoples minds, how celebrities starve themselves....tried and failed, the outdoors, spending long mornings in bed with my Nick!...is that enough?

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people with stories to tell, animals, aliens anything really. As long as they have a wicked, obscure even, sense of humour and are into their music..........people with industry contacts especialy welcome! I need to get some decently paid session work.

Music:

lots, soul, pop, rock, jazz, folk, chart, R&B, easy listening, voice and guitar, musicals, classical..........if it's good, I like it! Apart from heavy trance and death metal..............although........

Movies:

shawshank redemption, the wedding singer, lolita, american beauty, shadowlands, god I cant think....great comedies, great tragedies, well acted things, anything with Adam Sandler.

Television:

Oh dear, I must say that I'm a complete sucker for reality tv. Fat people, ugly people, fat and ugly people, people trying to sing, peolpe trying to model, people trying to lose weight, people still trying to lose weight and people who need to learn how to get dressed in the morning....I love it.....all of it! Good documentaries about real life are also a must and house programmes....buying, selling and decorating.........oh dear the decorating!

Books:

Not really a book person. Much prefer listening to some cool music than reading. If however I'm on holiday, I do love reading real life stories about people overcoming the bad stuff that life throws at them.....it makes me realise not to complain about things that dont matter. The best ones for this are.... 'A child called it' and the others that follow. 'The Little Prisoner'

Heroes:

Anyone who's gone through crap and managed to come out the other side still smiling!!!!
