..MY STORY (copied&pasted from my website)::
I am an Actor first, before a Model. Modeling is something I sort of fell into. My passion for success in the entertainment industry came at a very young age. However, due to a strict upbringing, it wasn’t until my late teens when I began my journey. During my high school years, I began pursuing the entertainment field by going to casting/open calls, some auditions, and submitting myself to various talent agencies. All of this...without my mother knowing. (Yes, I was a rebellious child...well, somewhat.) Because of my mom's disapproval of the business, I attended acting classes and drama competitions behind her back during my teenage years. Gradually, my mom began opening up to the idea after witnessing my performance in one of the drama competitions I snuck out to. I was so scared and thought I was going to be in big trouble after getting caught, but instead she was so proud and teary-eyed. It was both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because she made it easier for me to do what I love, but a curse because she used to force me to perform my monologues during our family's holiday parties. (So embarassing!) In 2003, she gave me her full blessing to pursue the career after my manager, Ray Murphy Jr. (of MURPHY BOYZ MANAGEMENT & PRODS.), assured her that I will be safe with him on my side. He has been true to his word up to now. Immediately after their discussion about my potential in "Hollyweird", I made my move to Los Angeles. On the other side, modeling is something I sort of fell into because of my pageantry participation (former Miss Philippines of the World; represented North America and landed in the Top10 in a Miss Universe prelim), my exposure on Maxim Magazine, and other publications and TV appearances overseas. Not something I really take seriously, but a lot of fun and gave me some good exposure!! My mission is to become very successful in the entertainment business as a well-respected actress, noted for my ability to give substance into every character I portray. Although this business can be very stressful, it has been a blessing because I am accomplishing and living my dreams. I don't know how soon or how long the journey will be, nonetheless I forge ahead, determined to take on the challenges along the way.
