First Act offers instruments for all levels of players, including guitars, amps, accessories, band instruments, drums, percussion, and children's instruments. Custom, one-of-a-kind guitars are also available through the First Act Studio for Artists. First Act instruments are available in retail stores nationwide.
First Act has made custom one-of-a-kind guitars for over 100 rockstars, including Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Brent Hines (Mastodon), Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Henry and Jo Jo Garza (Los Lonely Boys), Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), and Jimmy Messer (Kelly Clarkson), to name a few.
First Act is also currently creating a unique, 100% custom 'green' guitar for Guster axe-man Adam Gardner. Chief Luthier Kelly Butler collaborated on the design with Gardner to make an instrument with a consciousness for the environment. The guitar will feature eco-friendly certified wood, recycled or salvaged parts, low toxin emission paints and finishes, and the carbon emissions associated with electrifying the guitar for its entire lifetime will be made 'carbon neutral' through a renewable energy company, Native Energy.
First Act's guitars have been featured everywhere from Franz Ferdinand's Nick McCarthy playing his custom axe at the Grammys to the infamous VW campaign featuring Slash playing a First Act GarageMaster guitar through a stack of Jettas.
