Patchie-C has been Dj'ing for about ten years starting of with Old school hardcore and happy hardcore. He moved to drum & bass in about 1998. As well as dnb at the age of 15 and 16 was playing hard trance in small venues around stoke with a friend for pocket money. It was when the first dark drum and bass night in stoke 'gravitylab' started that he first started playing regular dnb sets in clubs. Gravitylab then merged with audiodrome to create audiolab where he was also a resident . More dnb nights started emerging in stoke such as Snakedance and Pressure where he was playing alongside the likes of Simon Bassline Smith, Mark XTC, DJ Energy and Dangerous D. Also he played sets at the legendery 'Monkee & Illusion nights'. It was the Night 'Snatch' that really became and still is the dominant dnb night in stoke, Patchie-C has been a resident there since the early days usually playing the last or a late set b2b with his partner in crime tek-nyne, Snatch has travelled from keele uni’s 'k2' to 'the full moon' to the Talbot’s ' assembly rooms' and now full circle back to K2 where it packs out around 450 people, last event had to turn away 150 heads! At Snatch he has been on bills that have included Tech Itch, Pendulum, John B, Optical, Twisted Individual, Dom & Roland, Friction, & Mampi Swift. There are also numerous 'free parties' he has played at in caves and woods etc around Staffordshire and Cheshire. He entered a competition ran by Hard to Find Records called 'superstar Dj' where he made it to the Great Britain finals where he came a respectable 4th. This lead to gigs around the country in Manchester, Glasgow and Edinbrough. He also plays in Bournemouth at a night called Riotlab. He has hosted his own show on www.kunninmindz.com and has other radio work in the pipeline, On the production side he has been working on tunes and studying Music tech at college and now university since 2002.
