Most of my Los Angeles Family and Friends know me from the ComedyGame... I managed The World Famous Laugh Factory for Jamie Masada 11nights a week for over a year before I went over and Managed The ComedyUnion on Pico for Enss Mitchell for 12 nights a week for over a year...I have thee most deep love and respect for my comedy comrades... I tookon kind of a momma bear roll to alot of cats in the comedy game so tothe ones I mentored, gave notes to and hook ups... I called them mycubs... And to this day I can't shake the game even tho' I tried toleave it to pursue my own writing career... I left managing the clubsto write and produce my short film which I was able to accomplish withthe work and dedication of a brilliant cast and crew... most of which Ialready knew from my comedy connections....Basically... I just want everyone to win. This is not dressrehearsal... Your time... Our time is NOW... I have mad respect foranyone born with a gift that wants to maximize said gift to the hilt...Just because "they" don't know you are... Doesn't mean you aren'talready a star... You have to act like you are already in... because...well... you are. Be a trailblazer a maverick... be your own agent...your own manager... hustle and slang your own "product". Rememberthis:....Hollywood WILL NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON YOU THAT YOU ARE NOTWILLING TO TAKE ON YOURSELF... So actors that can't find an agent...find some work on indie films... go to www.craigslist.com and buildyour resume... Writers that can't get anyone to read your scripts....make your movie yourself and enter it in festivals.... Just don't lookto others to help open a door... Kick that beyotch down yourself...create opportunities.. don't wait for them to happen upon you... But ifand when they do present themselves... then have your shznit on tap andready....Write your Own Destiny... if you wait tables or answer phones andsomebody asks you... What are you? Don't say a waiter orreceptionist... say.. Writer, Actor, Comedian, Recording Artist,Dancer.... you are not what you do to pay the rent... you are yourgift, your talent, your goal.... because you are who you are on thejourney to being who you it is you are supposed to be.... so own itnow....
