About Me

Growing up in a military family, Jarrod spent most of his life living in Hawaii and Okinawa, Japan. At a young age he was introduced to the piano and studied it as most children do. Of course, playing the piano was not a cool thing to do so Jarrod soon switch over to the trumpet which he played for almost seven years. Along the way he picked up numerous other brass instruments and end up playing the tuba until he entered college.During Jarrod's second year of high school he was introduced to the vocal stylings of Darmon Meader and New York Voices. He auditioned for his high school jazz choir and after someone left the group, Jazz Limited, Jarrod was asked to be the bass for the group. While singing for Jazz Limited Jarrod was blessed with the opportunity of singing at the G8 Summit that took place in Okinawa in 2000. From that point on his focus shifted more towards becoming a vocalist. In early 2001, after attending a semester at the University of Maryland, Jarrod packed his bags and moved to Maine. He is currently a student at the University of Southern Maine. Jarrod has performed all over New England. He was a member of the Apocalypse Brass Band (formed by Jason Ward of Rustic Overtones), Perfect Octave, and is currently the front man for the Tom Snow Band.Jarrod can be seen performing all over New England. I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
