My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Maria von Trapezoid - Keys and Vocals. Maria was taken ripped from the embrace of her family at an early age. She was taken far from Earth and kept as a pet by aliens. Then she took over the planet. She learned to play keyboards while resident on Tramalfadore. Maria likes Rum, Vodka, fast stars and eating at Milliways Restaurant at the End of the Universe. Maria is the current reigning Empress of Belgium
Switch Hazel - Bass and Vocals. Ms. Hazel, the resident dominatrix, learned to play bass while still in the cradle. She later placed her first boyfriend in the very same cradle. As soon as she realised that he wouldn't fit in one piece, she carved him up with a chainsaw and stacked him in there like firewood. Switch enjoys Wine, Beer, Bullwhips and interesting Zippo lighters
The Bad Seed - Drums. The Bad Seed, also known as "Please don't hit me again" was raised by Sumatran Rat Monkeys - such as those seen in the movie Braindead (also called Dead Alive). After her eventual capture she was kept in confinement for a year while a cure was found. None was, so her symptoms are being treated individually. She likes biting people, drinking and traffic accidents.
Super Diabetic - Guitars. Super was raised a strict Hindu on the steppes of Outer Mongolia. But don't be fooled by his odd upbringing. While he retains a penchant for Yaks and Yetis, he is still the complete guitarist. He is the reincarnation of an ancient Sumerian demon called Fluffy. Super enjoys walks in the park (but make sure he is leashed), boozing and cutting people up with guitar strings.
Sebastian Spite - Vocals and Guitars. Sebastian, the resident foreigner in the Martyrs, was the result of an unfortunate laboratory acccident which he refuses to discuss. being born in the year 9000 BCE he brings immense experience to the Martyrs. Sadly, little of that experience is musical. Mostly, it seems to involve substances that are considered toxic to most forms of earthbound life. Sebastian enjoys shouting, antagonising people and sneering.
Scott Free - Vocals and Incidental Instruments. Mr Free is an enigma. Or is it a fish? He spent his formative years living with a tribe of cannabilistic dolphins off the coast of Ryleh. Befriending Cthulhu, he is now a dark force known for his sacrificial parties. Scott enjoys boozing, giving out tickets and human sacrifice.
Influences: Camus, Sartre, Dada, Dali, Buzzcocks, Johnny Rotten, Subhumans, Sex Pistols, Specials, Stiff Little Fingers, Bowie, Bertrand Russell, Kierkegaard, Kafka, Cure, Concrete Blonde, Cruxshadows, Joy Division, Bauhaus, Pierre Proudhon, Bakunin, Vonnegut, Slaughter and the Dogs, X-Ray Spex, Vice Squad, Proust, German Electronica, Debbie Harry, Simone de Beauvoir, Nick Cave, Betty Page
Sounds Like: Post-punk Apocalyptic DaDa, with lashing of anti-capitalist cream.
Record Label: Would anybody take us anyway?
Type of Label: None
