I like all sorts of music. I'm not a fan of most country or rap, however. I really enjoy classic rock, industrial, EBM, hair metal, glam rock, your mom, angry german men, and angry vikings. Styx, Rammstein, GNR, Motley Crue, Falconer, Joe Satriani, Dragonforce, Enigma, Megadeth, Dio, VNV Nation, Dope Stars Inc., KMFDM, Journey, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Iron Maiden, Combichrist, The 69 Eyes, Blind Guardian, Scorpions, Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Van Halen (David Lee Roth, mind you. Sorry Sammy), Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Nobou Uematsu, KISS, Heart, Nightwish, Sisters of Mercy, Queen, Billy Idol, and fifty billion more I don't feel like listing right now.
I like movies with explosions, swords, epic battles, black vampires, funny stuff, and anime. I don't watch comic book movies, date movies, chick flicks, etc.
I don't watch much tv, but when I do it's usually Adult Swim, Meerkat Manor, and the History Channel.
Oh geez. If it's in print I'll read it, though I prefer high fantasy. Just finished the Song of Ice and Fire series. I heart Drizzt Do'Urden. Just another item to add to the geek checklist.
