IN TONGUES was formed in the summer of 2004 shortly after the disbanding of Louisville's KODAN ARMADA with a mission of playing chilling post-hardcore influenced by AT THE DRIVE-IN, GODSPEED YOU BLACK EMPEROR, ENVY, and PG99. After a brief tour, a split 7" with local anti-heroes LORDS, and a handful of shows, the band was forced to go on indefinite hiatus due to drummer Travis Lloyd's relocation to Atlanta, Georgia.
Guitarist Adam Rains is now fronting the band PRIDESWALLOWER , while bassist Cory Popp has moved to Chicago to pursue a degree in film at Columbia University.
