Right now I'm in my last semester at Duke Divinity School, getting my Masters of Theological Studies. I like to refer to Divinity School as Jesus School, because it clarifies what it's about to people who don't otherwise know. Also, it makes people chuckle. After I graduate I hope to write a book about my two years spent in Jesus School. This book will be funny but insightful and will be titled "Jesus School Diaries."
I perform improv at the DSI Comedy Theater in Carrboro, NC. I've gotten quite good at improv, but then again I've spent quite a bit of time doing it. If I had spent the same sort of time whittling, I would likely be quite good at whittling and I would have created numerous small, intricate wooden objects. I also try and help other people to be better at improv.
A few years back, I did a fair amount of writing alongside my good friends Porter and Flynn for a website: www.tjmonkeys.com. I only mention it because sometimes people who liked that website track me down in my various internet incarnations.
