Viocosis was formed in 2004 out of covers band Forsaken. The Forsaken set list was all covers consisting of anything from Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera to AC/DC, Motorhead, Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden etc. The setlist was geared towards biker rallies and rock nights but with a heavy edge, playing for such clubs as The Iron Horsemen, The Ramrods, The Rogues, The Heatseizers.Darren had a collection of songs that were written whilst in a previous band which met a premature end due to the rehearsal room being over a pub and the fact that the vocalist was sectioned after an incident involving a Samurai sword and a nearby lake. The original songs were gradually phased in and currently the original set runs around the 1 hour mark in addition to the Viocosis / Forsaken covers set which has over 2 hours worth of material.------------
-------------------------------------------4 original songs were recorded and mixed in the Doghouse studio in Dublin and the 'Swathed In Contempt' EP was released in 2005.

Drums – Mickey McConnonThe song ‘Viocosis’ was included on the compilation album ‘Intoxicated 4’ featuring Irish metal bands released in December 2006 on the Underground Movement record label.In January 2006 Glen was replaced on guitar by Geezer. Viocosis recorded Sacred Reich’s ‘The American Way’ in January 2007 for inclusion on the ‘Thrash and Burn’ tribute to thrash compilation due for release later this year. Geezer then left the band and Glen rejoined September 2007. We currently have a pool of 13 songs and will record a full length album in the near future.1. Humanism,
