BIOGRAFIA

Monkey Hole cuenta con un primer trabajo "Psychophonies from a violent party" grabado a finales del 2003 en los estudios valencianos de RPM a manos de Roger Garcia y autoeditado en el 2004. Esta primera grabacion trajo un inmediato exito tanto de critica como de publico y su reclamo se fue extendiendo. Varios de los temas pertenecientes a esa primera grabacion formaron parte de recopilatorios como ..LPH & FRIENDS.., en asociacion con Zero Recods y El Diablo o ..RECORDINGS FOR A DEAD HERO.. Asimismo el tema ..Nightmare in the doll..s house.. fue incluido en la banda sonora de la pelicula ..Kombate Brutal.. proyectada en el festival de Sitges en ese mismo ano 2004. Sin embargo es al ganar el concurso ..Emision Digital.., premiado con la participacion en el Festimad..04 junto a grandes como Korn, Pixies, Blood Brothers, The (International) Noise Cospirancy,The Bronx, Standstill, ..., cuando Monkey Hole sube un escalon mas en su trayectoria afianzandose en la escena metal estatal. Tras la actuacion en el Festimad..04 se reciben muy buenas criticas y comienzan a llegar proposiciones para llevar a cabo conciertos en varios puntos del pais.A finales del 2004 Monkey Hole cruza las fronteras espa..olas con ayuda de su mejor distribuidora ..Internet.., recibiendo noticias desde el otro lado del charco, tres webzines ..Pivotalrage-U.S.A.. (www.pivotalrage.com), ..Hellcast-Chile.. (www.hellcast.com) y .. Musicextreme-Argentina.. (www.musicextreme.com) habian realizado respectivas criticas del Ep, dejando en muy buen lugar a la banda y confirmando con ello que Monkey Hole es un grupo que puede competir a un nivel internacional sin ningun temor.En el ano 2005 siguen los conciertos asi como la inclusion de la banda en dos nuevos recopilatorios, esta vez a traves del ..Mad Taste II.. recopilatorio llevado a cabo por la misma organizacion del Festimad conjuntamente con el sello Factoria Autor, asi como del ..Z-Z Rocks Vol.1.. realizado por el webzine Zona Zero (www.zona-zero.net). Es precisamente este ultimo medio el que cada ano realiza un ranking con votaciones de publico para evaluar que grupos han tenido mas trascendencia en distintas categorias y Monkey Hole quedo en 2ª lugar en las categorias de ..Mejor maqueta nacional.. y ..Grupo revelacion nacional... Dos nuevos concursos incluyen a la banda entre los premiados ..Garrofa Rock-Castillo de Peniscola.. quedando en segundo lugar y recibiendo por ello una compensacion economica y el concurso Demo 05 de la revista Rockzone, por el cual entran a formar parte en uno de los conciertos que se realizados por la celebracion del primer ano de existencia de la mencionada revista.Sin lugar a dudas la banda se encuentra en un gran momento y asi lo corrobora la confianza que mucha gente pone sobre ella, como por ejemplo ..Fuckin..Bastardz Incorporated.., Sponsors oficiales del grupo.El 2006 es el ano elegido para grabar el que sera su primer disco, por ello la composicion es la principal objetivo. Aun asi la banda participa de cabeza de cartel en el festival Lebrancho Rock..06 de Fuerteventura y es confirmado para el proximo Eastpack Brutal Noise de Barcelona, compuesto por prestigiosas bandas europeas como Caliban, Born from pain y Gojira.Finalmente en Mayo del 2006 se entra en los estudios RPM de Valencia a las ordenes de Roger Garcia, realizando la grabacion y mezcla de los 12 temas que componen el nuevo disco ..Termites don..t respect the temple of God.. El disco es masterizado en los estudios Cutting Room de Solna (Suecia) a manos de Bjorn Engelmann (Rammstein, Meshuggah, In Flames,The Hives, Soilwork, Backyard Babies). El nuevo sello discografico Kaiowas Records, apuesta por Monkey Hole como primer fichaje y editara su nuevo album a nivel europeo. El 26 de Mayo de 2007 sale a la venta en Espana y el 1 de Julio en Francia ..Termites don..t respect the temple of God..

BIOGRAPHY

Monkey Hole’s first work to its name “Psychophonies From a Violent Party” was recorded at the end of 2003 in the Valencian RPM studios by the hand of Roger Garcia and self-edited in 2004. This first recording brought immediate success from critics and public alike and its acknowledgement began to spread. Several of the tracks belonging to that first recording formed part of compilation CD’s, such as LPH & FRIENDS, in association with Zero Records and El Diablo(distribution) or RECORDINGS FOR A DEAD HERO. In the same way, the track “Nightmare in the doll’s house” was included in the soundtrack of the film Kombate Brutal (Brutal Combat) which was screened during the Sitges festival in the same year of 2004. It was, however, in winning the Digital Emission contest, which was awarded with their participation at Festimad 04 along with greats such as Kom, Pixies, Blood Brothers, The (International) Noise Conspiracy,T he Bronx, Standstill, ..., when Monkey Hole really took their first step forward on the path towards getting established in the state metal scene. After the performance at Festimad 04 very good reviews were received and offers to play in several concerts in various parts of the country began to arrive. At the end of 2004 Monkey Hole crossed the Spanish border with the help of their best distributor “Internet”, receiving news from the other side of the big pond. Three webzines: Pivotalrage-U.S.A (www.pivotalrage.com), Hellcast-Chile (www.hellcast.com) and Musicextreme-Argentina (www.musicextreme.com) had done their respective reviews of the EP, speaking very highly of the band and thus confirming that Monkey Hole is a group that can compete at an international level without any fear. In 2005 the concerts continued as well as the inclusion of the band in two new compilation CD’s , this time through the Mad Taste II compilation organised by the same organisation as Festimad together with the Factory Author label, as well as the Z-Z Rocks Vol.1 made by the webzine Zona Zero (www.zona-zero.net). It is precisely this latter media that does a ranking with votes from the public in order to evaluate which groups have had more impact in different categories and Monkey Hole managed to get 2nd place in the categories of Best national demo and National revelation group. Two new contests include the band among the award winners: at Garrofa Rock-Castillo of Peniscola where they ended up in second place and received economic compensation for that and also the Demo 05 contest of the Rockzone magazine, through which they ended up playing a part in one of the concerts given for the celebration of the aforementioned magazines first year of existence. Without any doubt the band finds itself in a great moment and this only justifies the confidence that many people have had in it, for example Fuckin Bastardz Incorporated, the official group sponsors. The year 2006 was chosen to record what would be their first album and, for this reason, composition is the main objective. Even so, the band is headlining at the Lebrancho Rock 06 festival of Fuerteventura(Canary Islands) and has been confirmed for the next Eastpack Brutal Noise festival of Barcelona, which includes prestigious European bands such as Caliban, Born from pain and Gojira. Finally, in May 2006, they entered the RPM studios of Valencia under the orders of Roger Garcia and recorded and mixed 12 songs that make up the new album Termites dont respect the temple of God. The record was mastered in the Cutting Room studios, Solna (Sweden) by the hand of Bjorn Engelmann (Rammstein, Meshuggah, In Flames, The Hives, Soilwork, Backyard Babies, etc).The new label Kaiowas Records vouched for Monkey Hole as their first signing and published their new album at European level. On sale from 26th May of 2007 in Spain and 1st July in France ...Termites don’t respect the temple of God....
