About Me

So I'm a tall skinny white guy. What, you wanna fight about it? I dye my hair black, I have black shoes, black shirts... Yeah, a lot of black. Don't take that the wrong way, though. It's all just coincendence. I never said to myself, "I want a black wardrobe." It just sort of happened. Whateva, whateva, I do what I wan'! I listen to so much music, watch so much TV, and play so much on the internet that I am a walking-talking pop-culture quote machine. Sometimes my brother and I have entire conversations entirely in "Simpsonese". And if you don't know what that is (or can't figure it out) then you've got problems.

I'm currently attending the University of Texas at Arlington. I have delusions of oneday being in an awesome band. In my spare time I've made lots of my own music. It's all electronic music (mostly ambient nowadays), because for a long while I was one of those raver type kids. And I don't mean that in a demeaning way. I loved going to raves (maybe occasionally taking a drug or two) and staying up really late. I still stay up really late, actually. My latest musical tastes have led me into the realm of hardcore music. Hense the song by At All Cost you're probably hearing right now (assuming you weren't ghey and turned it off.)
I try to be funny and light-hearted as much as possible. I disagree with those who think there's a limit to how hyper, humorous, or good natured someone can be. I am, by nature, an optimist. My girlfriend is amazingly awesome because she's just as funny as I am (sometimes, I still rawk most of the time) and just as nerdy as I am (seriously.) She also plays CounterStrike with me, and that never gets old.

Music:

Anything but pop or country. I'm a big tech-head, but I like quite a bit of hardcore and classic rock. Blue Oyster Cult is my all time favorite band. YES is an extremely close second. Outkast, well... Yes. I guess I can't say that I dislike them when in fact they're not half bad. Who would have guessed, but I find Gothic Dance pretty interesting.A list of other bands I enjoy: FIREKILLS!!! Coexist, A Still Second, Dirty Wormz, Active Radio, The Rise, At All Cost (that was a lot of local Austin bands) Blink 182, Hoobastank, Linkin' Park, Postal Service, Mindless Self Indulgence, Muse, System of a Down, Korn, Weezer, Orgy, Soundgarden, Nirvana, NIN, Queen, um... I'll have to go check my cd's for the others

Movies:

Anything. I like pretty much anything. But a few are: Pirates of the Carribean, Donnie Darko, Ghostbusters I and II, The Alien "Quadrilogy"(haha what a funny word), The Matrix Trilogy, The LOTR trilogy, Real Genius, The Mask, Once Bitten, Liar Liar, Ace Ventura 1 and 2, The Truman Show, Interview With a Vampire, any horror movie(because they're fun/ny), Dumb and Dumber/er, and there's way too many to list...

Television:

Simpsons, The Family Guy, Futurama, Home Movies, um... stuff

Books:

Tamora Pierce is my favorite author. Fo' sho' And Ann Rice. Damn vampires are sexy.
