pouting, childish squeak noises, festiveness, old talking clown marionettes, old anything (and I do mean anything), messes, naked ladies, old man bars, throwing mice out the window, being ocd, the elderly, uniforms and flappers.
buster keaton and daniel handler (oh wait, i did meet him! see my photos!).
badass early 60s girl groups mainly. i'm addicted to compilations of lost girl group tracks. after that, we can mix in a bit of the dresden dolls, hank williams, beck, elvis, siouxsie & the banshees, nirvana, stephin merritt/magnetic fields, the cramps, sparkle moore, patsy cline, the detroit cobras, mum, meatloaf, josephine baker, eagles of death metal, melanie, bjork, mr. scruff, tom waits and ohhh probably anyone else. i like variety a whole bunch. even if i hate it i prolly like it.
silent ones.
i'm partial to seven chances and the navigator at the moment. and i do still think buster is amazing in the talkies and i am so jealous of the young woman that got to marry him when he was old. i would've done that shriveling piece of ass in a second.
oh, it's all embarrassing.
but who wants to go to twin peaks fest in july with me and lily??
the series of unfortunate events, devil in the white city, miss manners' guide to excruciatingly correct behavior, american gods, murakami, and anything by either side of that darling fitzgerald couple.
