I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4My name is Steve Prince; I'm a musician/guitar teacher from Hoppers Crossing, a suburb west of Melbourne, Australia.I have been singing and playing the guitar for many years now. I joined my first band in my last few years of high school, 1975 to be precise, a scary thought ;^/I've pretty much played in bands since that time, pub rock type gigs mainly. Since my youth I've written songs and composed music. In 1989 I recorded my first CD at Metropolis Audio in South Melbourne. The album entitled 'You Can Fly' was a self funded independent release.The early nineties was a time of spiritual awakening for me when I became a christian. Around this time I felt God call me out of the pub rock scene to concentrate on my spiritual life. Soon after I got involved in church music and eventually became the Music Director of the first church I attended.In the late nineties my wife and I moved to Hoppers Crossing and began attending our current church 'Southland Christian Center'. I soon joined the worship team and became Music Director after a time.I am hoping one day to compose music for documentary and film having already turned my hand to jingle work for radio stations and so on.I've been working on an instrumental worship CD entitled 'Music From The Southland', two of the pieces are featured here with others on my website. I've also added a couple of other compositions of mine here, one of which features my friend Dioni Wilson on vocals.I hope that you enjoy the music placed here and on my website if you get a chance to check it out. My heart is to reach out to people with God's love and I think that music is a beautifully expressive way to do this.I'm also hoping to make friends here at MySpace; it's going to be good to get to know new people :o)God bless you all.
