Dennis is currently building a Christian music ministry with his best friend Jammo (AKA James) called Worship in the highest place. Their aim and focus is to impact the music industry at large within the Christian/Pop/R&B/Gospel charts where they can make a difference in what the world listens to today.In 2006, Melbourne performer Dennis Butingan took the stage by storm as he performed a well known hit song ‘I believe I can fly’, which was written and recorded by the internationally acclaimed artist R. Kelly at the Champions II Concert held at the Dallas Brooks Hall in Melbourne. He was requested to be a guest singer for Philippines superstars: Christian Bautista and Sheryn Regis.
With over 2000 people watching, critics described his performance to be a performance of a lifetime that was delivered with intensity, emotion and power. Then in Melbourne 2007, Dennis sang the same song at a prestigious event called RAW Sounds held at the Collingwood Town Hall. As the sound of the audience voice hailed across the auditorium with excitement and anticipation, Dennis once again delivered that song with passion and a heartfelt emotion touching the hearts of many.
As the R&B/Soul scene in Australia continues to rise, Dennis Butingan was then scheduled to perform for the grand opening of Weerama Festival, captivating over 10,000 screaming fans. Dennis touched the hearts of the Australian public, the local community and the government with songs that once hit the charts world wide written and recorded by legendary artists: Lionel Ritchie and Stevie Wonder called:

Dennis is a versatile singer who has been singing since the age of 5 and has successfully achieved an awesome and emotionally heartfelt ability to sing Gospel/R&B/Soul. EYC, Naughty by Nature, Salt and Pepa, Young Black Teenagers, Urban Disturbance, The Melbourne Giants, VFL Grand Finals, Carols by Candlelight at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Push Over '93, Weerama Festival, Az One Voice, RAW Sounds, Champions II at the Dallas Brooks Hall as a guest singer for Philippines superstars: Christian Bautista and Sheryn Regis, and appeared on the Optus Christian Channel, Faith Above All Concert 2007, Pinoy T.V. and performed as a guest artist at a new movie premier Jesus Mercy God's Wrath as well as Gonged but not forgotten, Star Struck and Pop Stars, where he was able to display his students David McCallum, Adrian Hood and Danielle Stearman.
With determination Dennis now desires to take his career to a higher level and so began his journey to the Philippines aiming to break into the music industry there. He said that when he saw Gary Valenciano performing at the Mall of Asia back in May 2007, he was absolutely inspired and it motivated him even more to try and become all that he can be in the music industry there. Dennis is passionate about his home country (Philippines) and was deeply encouraged by his very good friend Brad Murdoch. He said to “keep the faith and don’t stop at anything until you get your dream. I believe that you have what it takes to make it hereâ€.
With a strong team of songwriters and producers working with Dennis, the same songwriters and producers that have written and produced singles for Philippines superstars: Sarah Geronimo, Mark Bautista, Raymond Manalo and Rachelle Anne-Go and as well as strong connections with songwriters and producers in America, Dennis is bound for stardom.
