Look..., it's the moon!!

About Me

I have been playing music for 25 years. The most recent band I played with was Thus Far(the greatest band you'll never hear). It was mostly power pop/with an alternative edge(Gabriel Pilon and Neil Frasier creation). Anyway back to me, I play guitar, bass and work a mean Tascam 788. I'm also learning drums(I have a 5 piece kit DW), props go to all the drummers out there; I have a lot more to learn! Anyway my wife started getting on my case one day. She said I was always waiting around for everybody else to get involved in a project. She pointed out that I had all the tools to try this myself. So here is my attempt.I am looking to meet more musicians to hopefully enhance my sound, or create a new one. I enjoy playing out; but I don't get the chance as much as I used to. I have my kids, my wife and my house to look after. Keep me posted on any local shows any of you have and I will try to make it out sometime; I'm a huge picture guy LOL. I'm currently a sound/session guy for Alison Holmes, and Charlotte Jacobsen; look for their cd's in the next coming months through Vacation Money Studios-Southgate, MI 48195. I also play with a band that is yet to be named but contains the fellow musicians: Dave Chamber-Keyboards, Neil Frasier-Drums, Brian Webb-Bass & Vocals, Alison Holmes- Guitar and Vocals and myself on guitar and vocals; any thoughts on a name send a comment my way!!All my friends who support and encourage me in my music; I thank you!

Band Members: Just me right now, yes another solo act, but I'm always open to possibilty. Chris Henderly-all guitars, all bass parts, all percussion, and yes even the weak ass vocal and strings!!! I guess I'm kind of retentive; I'm usually pretty easy going; I just don't like people that say they will do something and drop the ball. My mantra is if you enjoy music, make music. If you enjoy drama be an actor. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------- I help the guys in RELEASE do their website and take alot of the pictures at their shows; with special help from Teri and Renee of THAT GIRL productions ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------- We have just formed 7 Days of Emptiness with Neil Fraser on drums and background vocals , myself on rythm and lead as well as an occasional vocal too, Jeff Wagner on bass and vocals and Julian on Keyboards/guitars and lead vocals. We will be hitting a bar near you in the coming months!! ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------- .. MySpaceScripts.com Profile Editor
Influences: The Beatles, Wilco, the Killers, REM, the Replacements, Paul Westerberg, Buffalo Tom, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Steve Earle... almost too many to list. I'm always open to ANY kind of music. There are just so many musicians in the world; it isn't right to dis-clude anybody's talent.
Sounds Like: A guy trying to figure out a sound that's stuck in his head...simplistic pop. I'm kind of a moody prick; is that a classification for music yet? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - ------- This was me when I was a kid; I guess things really don't change that much as an adult...lol

No Rest For The Twisted

I worked in my makeshift studio, when I got home from work last night.  It was the first time this year, I felt I was inspired to try something new.   Luckily I actually recorded it.&nb...
