About Me

I'm a writer, a wife, a mother, a woman, a feminist, a Democrat, a Christian - in other words, I don't let labels define me... I define *them*. I'm also passionate, fiery, loving, tender hearted, strong willed, devoted, generous, talented, opinionated, smart, funny, argumentative, a narcissist with a horrible self esteem - so that means it's all about me but it's all bad - a dreamer, a lover, a mother, a child, 51 percent sweetheart and 49 percent bitch. In other words, I don't pretend to be perfect, nor would I want to be. Who needs that kind of pressure? I also have the annoying habit of saying what's on my mind, even if it will get me into trouble. I also never let go of a fight if I know that I'm right, which is about 96 percent of the time.

If you want to know more, just check out my video section for my take on Pugs, teens, disco, Hal Sparks and American Idol.

My Interests

Writing, movies, music, books, travel. Most of all, I love to laugh. Make me double over and tear up in gales of obnoxious, uncontrollable laughter and I'll most likely love you forever.

I'd like to meet:

People who are funny, smart and positive, who seek to leave the world in a little better shape than they found it. I'm also partial to interesting guys who know how to rock long hair and "guyliner". I'm also drawn to those people who have broken into "the business", as that benefits my "Hollywood or Bust" two year plan.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Television:

I like reality television a lot more than an aspiring screenwriter should. I always find myself hooked on The Bachelor, American Idol and VH1's "Celebreality".
Some recent stuff I love includes Lost and My Name is Earl.
The classics that never go out of style include Moonlighting, Night Court, Three's Company, The Carol Burnett Show and Roseanne.
I also love miniseries like The 10th Kingdom and North and South.
Plus you can never go wrong with Looney Tunes.

Books:

I wish I loved to read as much as I used to, but after learning how to write screenplays I'd much rather read scripts. Apparently it's not the memory that's the first to go, it's the attention span.

Heroes:

Check out my top 8 friends and you'll find most of them. Also my first husband Daniel and God, neither of whom have Myspace accounts.
