My name is Nicole Corley-Murray for over 15 years I take pride in creating various hairstyles for each individual needs. My experience has allowed me to work with all hair textures, treat various scalp disorders, and witness severe hair loss such as alopecia, damage caused by chemical treatments and over processed hair. This led me to research Natural hair alternatives to help restore my clients hair. I study many techniques from several hairstylist across the country gaining many experiences with all hair types, also attending several workshops on Natural Haircare, The Art of African Hairbraiding and Lock Cultivation by some of the leading Natural Haircare stylist and Braiders in the Country and learning the technical aspects of Cosmetology from Joseph Donahue School of Cosmetology.
My creative experiences has led me to express many other sides to my creativity I also design handcrafted beaded hair and body adornments using various beads, shells and findings I collect throughout my travels.My professional, positive and creative energy can be used for photo shoots, print work, fashion shows, as a creative consultant for magazines, video shoots and film production, or travel to various locations for client Haircare needs.
My clients range in age, gender, ethnic groups and all Occupations. I also develop and facilitate workshops in community centers, teen groups, public schools, and non-profit organizations.
My mission is to share this Ancient form of beautification through my knowledge, creativity and wisdom. This Ancient craft I share was pass down to me from my elders, mentors and teachers. We must continue this earliest form of Beautification by embracing Natural hair!
