Essentially... I'm the girl next door. I consider myself pretty grounded and down to earth. I have an inner confidence that many pick up on, but I use that to propel towards my goals - not to overpower others.
I like to think I have a good perspective on most things. This is probably because I value logic and reason. I'm a big thinker and I have an analytic mind. I always want to understand that which puzzles me...though this sometimes gets me into trouble.
I'm a fan of order and stability, yet I'll take leaps that seem crazy to friends and embark on an adventure every now and again. I enjoy keeping people guessing...showing different sides of myself and challenging assumptions. In fact, people sometimes find me hard to read at first. This also has to do with my sarcastic and wry sense of humour, which not everyone can relate to.
I've also been told I'm hard to get to know...which I think is funny because I'm very open. It might be more accurate to say that I'm hard to get close to. I don't take many risks as far as intimacy goes, but if I set my sights on you...GAME ON.
I'm big on loyalty and integrity. If you have my trust, it's solid. However, if you reveal yourself as self-centered or deceitful then I have no qualms about removing you from my life. I rarely give anyone a second opportunity to let me down.
I have a bit of a temper, but I chalk that up to simply being a passionate person. When I care about something, I totally focus and devote all my energy towards it. When I have a goal in mind, it's hard to steer me off course.
I try not to take myself too seriously. Chances are, I'll laugh at my flaws before you even notice them. I feel good about myself but I also set very high standards. It's highly important to me to be fit and I become more and more devoted to a healthy lifestyle each year.
Modelling is a fun hobby for me. I like to show the different aspects of my personality through my eyes and expressions. I love to be seductive...it's a powerful feeling. Photoshoots are a great outlet for playing up my femininity and sensuality. Provides a nice contrast to my nerdy schoolgirl alter ego. Education is my real passion right now...one step closer to where I ultimately want to be...
If you wanna know more, you can ask. Maybe I'll tell you ;-)

My Interests

Macrame, curling, knife sharpening, yoga, voodoo, gardening, prancing around in my underwear, watching grown men (preferably scantilly clad) fight/wrestle, road rage, and bubble baths.

I'd like to meet:

No one - y'all are whacko!
Except for Stephen Colbert.....I would ravage that man.

A quick note about friend requests:
I'm no longer accepting requests without an accompanying message. If you don't take the time to read the fine print, then that's your problem. My list is small and I like it like that. It allows me to keep track of the people who are important to me. Also, please don't request me if you're needy and high maintenance. I don't respect that and won't humour you. Everyone gets at least one response - if you're gonna get all pissy because you think you're "owed" more, then keep walkin'. Enthusiastic = good. Clingy = pathetic. Thanks.

Tara

Apparently it's a phenomenon, lol!

I'm riding a wave of 80's nostalgia at the moment. Spandeau Ballet's "True" sparked memories of the movie Sixteen candles, which automatically triggers fantasies about Jake Ryan - Molly Ring...
