My Interests

I have been a Montessori teacher since 2000. Quite a career change but it was well worth it. I am really into music. I always have been and always will be. I love sports. I play as much as I can and watch as much as I can. I love tattoos. I have 3 that I really like and want more. My family always comes first, though they better like music and sports. I suppose something people find interesting, but i don't is that I am an avid runner (well, maybe not so much anymore, but it's still in me).

Music:

I am into many types of music. My collection spans many genres. Much money has been spent on it. Of course there are some questionable ones in the collection, but I chalk them up to phases. Right now I am really into the post hardcore genre. This is including punk, emo, screamo, chreamo, chremo, and the like. I am not into country, though. My favorite band right now is Silverstein followed closely by Bayside. Rounding out my top 10 are Hawthorne Heights, Slunt, Amber Pacific, All Time Low, Aiden, Just Surrender, Over It and the Sleeping. Music is my passion.

Movies:

I am not into watching movies too much anymore. I have seen quite a few in my lifetime though. I love indies, comedies, and foreign flicks the best. My favorite movies of all time are:1. Star Wars2. Television:

Books:

I used to read a lot, but lately I am stuck in a rut. It is hard for me to sit and read. I would rather do other things, but I think I am headed towards another "I want to read" phase. I like to read mostly fiction. Oh who am I kidding. I'm a big comic geek. I love comics. There I said it. Favorites right now: The Walking Dead, Fables, American Virgin, Girls, Love and Rockets, and Y the Last Man. Awesome reads.
