I have a lot of distrations, but my friends and family keep me grounded in a good way. My DVD collection is huge.
I grew up in Bricktown/Toms River - moved north to be closer to work for a while, then moved back home and found a job I like more(thanks to a friend). At this point, I'm just trying to figure myself out.
I watch alot of movies, I used to read alot, now I might cover a few books a year if that. I'm half Puerto Rican, part German, and a few others.
I have two cars, a stage 2.5 vf34 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX (5-speed) and a 2005 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast (6-speed). If a car can describe it's owner, then I guess I'm somewhere in the middle. I look at my car payments as training for a mortgage, in a few years - I'll be set.
What I can't figure out - is usually only a phonecall away. I love music but don't like to dance. Jungle, d'n'b, classical, classic soul, motown, 80's, rap, metal, and probably a dozen or so other genres. I read 2600,Engadget, and slashdot when I have the time. I used to read alot - Enders Game by Orson Scott Card is my favorite book. I was raised a Jehovah's Witness, but never stuck with it. I still know the bible pretty well though because of how I was raised. If you read/studied the Bible every day for 18 years, you'd be surprised what you remember. My religious beliefs are best summed up as "I don't know, and I don't care" - I consider myself a non-practicing agnostic.
Looking for interesting people. Of course it's always nice to meet a girl who can make me smile. I can't fake a smile, that's not to say it's rare - it's just genuine when I do. Intelligence and a good sense of humor are a plus, but personality isn't everything. I want to find more open-minded people in NJ that know how to have a good time no matter what is going on.
