I am a shooting star, an over flowing septic tank, a light house in the night, a drag queen with no makeup, a freshly sanded wood floor, and a cigarette lit on the wrong side. You damn bands need to stop trying to be-friend me. No one has ever heard of you, nor do they care to hear your demo and become a groupie. No more friend requests from garage bands....rule number 457, Section B. TV sucks. I feel the subliminal messages trying to penetrate my skull. Commercials are a frightening representation of what exactly this culture is about. Something that used to be so wonderful (the whole Independence thing) has seemingly become bland and surface value only. Consume, consume, consume. Even my love for Law and Order has dwindled down to non-existent. Barages of commercials interrupt the only show that actually makes you think, and allows you to try and figure out the truth. I suppose that the twenty-seven branch offs have drained the writers and rendered the show predictable.So what if I recorded all seven seasons of America's Next Top Model. So what if I watched all of them and then contemplated anorexia. So what if I now think that I have a promising future in the fashion industry. American History X Nightmare Before Christmas. Corpse Bride was cool, the soundtrack left a little to be expected. Love Tim Burton and Quentin Terrentino. Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2. Anything that you actually have to think about. If I wanted to sit back and be mindlessly entertained, I would have a conversation with you. The Quiet Man was cool, if you are from an Irish Family, then I am sure your Mom/Grandma made you watch that. It is a staple, like corned beef and cabbage on St. Patricks day.

Television:

Cops; my only reality TV. I cant get enough of the rowdy redneck domestic disputes. I holler everytime I see them go into a trailer park. You know he drank too much Bud, she aint going to press charges, and none of the kids wear shoes. Ahhh, down home America.

Books:

Anything by William S. Borroughs. Big into Memoirs these days (hmm...wonder why). "Smashed: Story of a drunken girlhood" By Koren Zailckas. "More, Now, Again" By Elizabeth Wurtzel. "Wasted" by Marya Hornbacher. Parched by Heather King, Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs, And whatnot.

Heroes:
