I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I grew up in Lawrenceville, Gerogia and moved to Louisville, KY in 1993. There I met my best friend who later became my husband. We met through my sister, his secretary. We will be celebrating 9 years together this June. I have two children, Alicia is 23 and Jason is 18. In May of last year, Bryan was transfered to Oak Ridge and the fun began. After a few frantic weekend "house hunting" trips, we found a great house in Clinton, so in July we moved from Louisville to Clinton, TN. Being rural, it took awhile to get used to the cows and donkeys having a "get together" at 3am. My husband and I love to cook and entertain our friends and family. I love vintage clothing and have a store on eBay. (Hopefully it will be stocked and running sometime soon).

What Classic Pin-Up Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

I'd like to meet:

People that like to have a good time and take life as it comes; who are honest about who they are and where they are going.

a

Music:

My parents exposed me to all kinds of music. What I don't like is punk and rap. When I am by myself, I like to listen to music that reflects the mood that I am in. I guess what I listen to the most is country (old and new), southern rock, classic rock and much to my husband's dismay, I do like the 70's and disco.

Movies:

I like horror films, some comedy, historical era films (romance, drama) most chick flicks and anything that is a good tear jerker. My favorite movies are Gone with the Wind and It's a Wonderful Life.

Television:

Food TV, HGTV, Lifetime Movie Network, Medium, docu-dramas, history, mysteries, Days of Our Lives and Passions.

Books:

Way to many to get into...........

Heroes:

My husband. He puts up with me and that can be trying at times. My Dad is also my hero. He never told me I couldn't do something. He pushed me to follow my instincts and to try the things that intersted me. Always giving me the support I needed to try my wings and when I landed hard, he was there with a hug and the bandaids.
