I am one of the partners at Fagerholm & Jefferson Law Corporation, an Entertainment Law Firm located in the heart of the entertainment capital, Burbank, CA (the other partner is JWF below). Many of our firm's clients are on myspace so I thought that I would join to see what's up in this part of the Internet. I do NOT engage in "shopping" for deals (i.e, music, scripts)...the game has changed and that's not what lawyers do anymore...but once you get interest from a company I can make your deal much better than the initial offer (you should NEVER accept the first offer of a deal. There is always something in the initial offer that needs to be addressed to make it reflect what you think the deal is...sometimes these things could damage your entire career). I can also help you with the legal needs necessary to make you a success (contracts, company formation (Corp/LLC), trademarks, protect your copyrights in your music/compositions/movies/scripts/tv shows/fashion lines/artwork/etc.). Good Music. I grew up loving hip hop before it was "cool" so the old school will always be my main vibe but my taste changes with my moods (rock, r&b, jazz, blues, or a mix of any of those). I've lived in many parts of the country (Ohio, Florida, Texas, East Coast, West Coast) so I learned to appreciate all the regional sub-genres of music as well such as miami bass, zydeco, go go, banda...whatever is good!
