Escapetor was formed in 1999 by Leif-Ove Haugstad and Ragnar A Nord-Varhaug.
Svein Arild Kleven joined on bass and then Carl-Eric Sagård on guitar and
vocals in 2000. Several demos and cds where recorded:

Carl-Eric and Svein Arild left the band in 2006, but Ragnar and Leif-Ove
where not going to abandon the ship. Mats Henning Reppen joined in
2007 and the band started to make new songs and started to record a
new demo. The demo was stopped as Escapetor needed a short time-out.
In 2008 the band where ready and Ole Egeli on guitar and
Henning Jansen on bass joined the band and Escapetor is working
on new materials and rehearsing.
