About Me

There is nothing written in the music scriptures that singer/songwriters must be acoustic, and let’s face it – it can all be a bit dull, can’t it?

Originally beginning life as a side-project while he played guitar in an ill-fated band, Baggage certainly benefits from Tom Baines’ power, energy - and a little distortion. The sound brings back memories of early nineties grunge (think Soundgarden, the Lemonheads) but with a distinctly modern twist, never once betraying the one man, one guitar, one vocals setup by making it sound anything less than huge.

Baggage's second EP, 'Killing Time' is available for download now from iTunes, with an LP in the pipeline for later in the year. Tom is on the lookout for gigs anywhere and everywhere, if you have any ideas/offers contact him through myspace or email him at:

[email protected]

V Festival (with your help!)

You've probably all noticed the large banner across the bottom of my page, and I'm sure it's fairly self explanatory, and you know what it's for! But I thought I'd take a minute to explain about the c...
