About Me

We are a fresh new record label and a collective of artists that come from different musical backgrounds, but out of the same urban area. We all share the same passion and love for african influenced music, doesn't matter if it's jazz, funk, rare grooves, disco, latin, afrobeat, broken, drum'n bass, house, hiphop or neosoul. It always has to have that jazzy, deep, funky and soulful vibe to it.

As we all produce, spin and love this kind of music, we joined forces to form the the label highsteppin' records.

As one said you don't explain soulful music, you live soulful music!

Finally, our long awaited first ep has been released and is ready for ordering.
The ep features a broad range of genres from brokenbeat and hiphop over disco and 80s funk to deep house.
