About Me

This is Jake!

My Interests

People with purpose, connecting on many levels, letting go, discovering what makes this world go round, i love a great cup of coffee in the morning, seeing shows, tattoos, working with my hands, using my head

I'd like to meet:

MY HAT IS OFF TO ERIC FOR HAVING THIS KIND OF CONTINUING COURAGE IN HIS CAREER.

Music:

my iPod contains Eric Himan, John Mayer, Beth Hart, Ani, Namoli Brennet, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross, Andy Moore, Coyote Grace, Levi Kreis, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Ray Charles, Tommy Dorsey, Rascall Flats, The Frey, Sugarland, Alison Krauss, Janet Jackson, Michael W Smith, Duke Ellington, Melissa Etheridge, Jordin Sparks, Toby Lightman, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Howard Jones, Human League, Culture Club, Duran Duran,

Movies:

I am a sucker for straight up comedy ie. History of the World part II, caddyshack, drop dead gorgeous, BIG, etc. Romantic comedies top the list though, You've Got Mail, Serendipity (well all things cusack), 27 dresses, 13 going on 30 and yes I even enjoyed music and lyric! Also, movies of the 80's: Pretty in Pink, Weird Science, Real Genius, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, grease (parts 1 and 2), Breakfast Club, St Elmo's Fire, Say Anything. I don't do scary (don't see a point) but will watch a psych thriller in a heartbeat.

Television:

Deadliest Catch, John and Kate +8, Workout, Top Chef, Dirty Jobs, Little People Big World. I switch between TLC, Bravo and Discovery. I'm not sure what other tv even exists. Oh, but I do enjoy Life of Ryan as well.

The Last Lecture- Randy Pausch... If you've not read this book.. let me nudge you too!Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting.

My Dad, My Mom, Eric Himan, Judy Albin, KC White, Sue Rosso, Steve Bentz
