About Me

..
Hi my name is Sarah. I'm a Hoosier (Indiana) by birth, but was raised a Hillbilly (Kentucky) from the time I was 3 years old. I have 5 siblings... 4 brothers and 1 sister. I was primarily raised in Louisville, but then my family moved to the country where I lived until I was married. I met and married a wonderful man by the name of Steve Jennings and moved to Sparta Illinois where we lived for about 3 years. I won't go into detail about every single place we've lived, but suffice it to say we've been all over. Mainly due to a company he use to work for where he had to travel alot, so since we didn't have any children I traveled with him. It was a great adventure, but after several years of this we decided we wanted to settle in one place and put down roots.
We've been married 20+ years and are more in love than when we first met. We currently have no children, but one cat name Muffin and a miniature dachshund name Piper. They both are very spoiled as my family can attest to. We hope to change all that in the near future as we are working on a baby... yes I know that I'm 41 and almost prehistoric, so why would I want to have a baby at my age? It's so common anymore for women to start having children later in life. And, the way I look at it, I'm so much more mature and patient than I use to be (at least I'd like to think so :oD) I look at things so much more differently than I did when I was younger... my priorities are different. I feel that, personally speaking, me and my husband both would put so much more of ourselves into a child and enjoy much more of the quirks and spontaneity that comes with children.
We currently live in the great state of Kentucky. We've lived in the Lexington area for 12+ years and absolutely love it. Since I love horses, living in the Horse Capital of the US has been wonderful. I love the lush rolling hills, trees, rivers and lakes, horse farms with white and black fencing outlining the beautifully landscaped lawns and fields... absolutely gorgeous! Although Lexington has plenty of Industry and Commerce it doesn't look near as industrialized as alot of other cities. I call it the "city in the country" because alot of it's beauty has not been spoiled.
I operate a business out of my home in Internet Marketing and Ecommerce. One of the things that I have realized over the years is that whether you operate a traditional business or a non-traditional business, if you don't know how to market then your business will not go anywhere. If you know how to market then you can sell pretty much anything as long as it's in demand and is a quality product. I attribute this philosophy to a man that I had the good fortune to cross paths with a few years ago. He's considered the "advisor of advisors"... the "mentor of mentors" to such people as Robert Kiyosaki, Jay Abraham, Anthony Robbins, Mark Victor Hansen and many others. He makes multi-tasking look simple to the average newbie.
This particular gentleman, who many call "Mr. X" , took me under his wing with 49 other students to teach us everything he knows about marketing both on-line and off-line. Long story short, as a result of being able to be a part of his private mentoring club, I've gained an education in real-world marketing that will help catapult any business venture I choose to take on. In this day and age, the safe bet is to diversify and not have "all our eggs in one basket", so due to "Mr. X" I am able to accomplish this.
As you can tell, I love talking about marketing and all that entails... I guess you could say it's a passion of mine. And, I like the fact that I have alot of flexibility at the present and for the future. Like I said earlier, we are wanting to have a baby and being able to work at home is definitely a plus for me.
Anywho, that's us in a nutshell. If you want to know anything else, feel free to ask. Glad you stopped by my neck of the woods... don't be a stranger:o)

Besides connecting with family and friends, I'd like to meet Donald Trump because I'm sure he'd have alot of great advice in the area of business. On MySpace, I'd like to meet ambitious, goal-oriented, positive people who have a great outlook on life. Now, I know we all have our moments where we're not always at our best and I'll be the first to admit this... no one's perfect. But, Kudos to those who when they fall down, they get right back up... you fail when you quit.
