As a child of The DMV (DC, MD, VA), M. Quest grew up with the dream of changing the world of music. At the innocent age of 7, he went from tapping random keys on the piano to constructing melodies and arranging them in song without any formal training. At age 14, after becoming a lot more fluent in piano, he decided to quench his thirst for rhythm and pick up drums as well. While attending Suitland High School in Forestville, MD he gained a great reputation as a musician, rapper, poet and singer. The ability to formulate rhymes was always present, but the over-saturation of “gangster†music turned him away from rapping. The negativity highlighted was not synonymous with his lifestyle; so he decided focus on production.Quest enrolled into The Omega Studio School for Recording Engineering and attained a degree/certification in the field of Audio Engineering. He quickly gained attention from students a faculty alike as an amazing producer/songwriter/engineer. M. Quest has had the great honor of working with great artist and producers such as Mario, Chucky Thompson, Raheem Devaughn, Emily King, John “JAYD†Daniels, and Foxy Brown...just to name a few. M. Quest's work as a recording engineer can be heard on the Grammy Nominated single from Raheem Devaughn entitled "Woman".Even through the minor success as producer and engineer, the microphone continued to call him. When he decided to heed the call of destiny, M. Quest completely stepped into a whole new realm of music. Blending space-like trance synths with beautiful melodic twists, a dash of rock and lyrics that are equally as quirky as the music; M. Quest’s talents are like a ticket to an ultra-dimensional yet symphonic flight.Every generation gives birth to a few minds that extremely shift the paradigm. When the sounds of M. Quest grace your ears, you will surely take notice that he should be mentioned in the same breath.“I just wanna inspire the people…†Quest says while working on his debut release “The Castle In The Skyâ€. “When I told people my style of music, people told me I was better off building a castle in the sky...so that’s what I did.†M. Quest is determined to break into the music industry and inspire minds all over the world to live the dream that they posses. Now, with fellow PRS Musik counterparts Kyonté and Sam Gunney, M. Quest’s journey has only begun. Still very close to his childhood fascination with the sky, M. Quest’s sound is the vehicle that will take him there.“…Meet me in the sky!â€
