Here is a great quote by Steven Curtis Chapman:
"When you look at My cross, that's where you find the reality that I make all things new."

Other than the Bible, my favorite books are Hatchet (a great book of struggle, perseverance and survival), Big Red, My Utmost for His Highest, With God on the Hiking Trail, 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music, Where The Sidewalk Ends, It's Not About Me, Heaven and The Leadership Challenge.
JESUS is the greatest hero that ever existed. Don't think so? Watch The Passion of the Christ, and see what he went through. Jesus was hated, ridiculed, hit, spit on, whipped, had his flesh torn, his hands and feet pierced by nails, hung on a cross, essentially tortured, and then killed. And he did all this willingly, for each and every one of us. At anytime He could have said, "naa, i don't want to die for these people," but he didn't. Jesus didn't do it for recognition, didn't do it for cancer research, or aids, or diabetes, or any other minor cause in comparison. Jesus willingly went through all this so that each and every one of us could have the chance to LIVE eternally in paradise with him, rather than dieing for all eternity in Hell. Jesus died for me, and he also died for you. That's why Jesus is my hero. Other heroes include my Mom and Dad, Jordyn, Steven Curtis Chapman, Stephen Pace, Brenda Johnson, Gadget Joe, Joe Lane, Barry Gilmore and Ed Page.
