Writer/Producer/Musician

About Me

I,m a writer/producer and musician. I grew up in a household full of creativity and also full of weird and wonderful characters including five gorrillas, four tigers, eight orangutans and my four sisters. Apart from all that madness there was a recording studio built onto the side of our house (my dad was a producer too www.gordonmills.co.uk) which I would spend every waking hour hanging out with musicians, producers and engineers learning how to make records. I've been involved with loads of different acts in my career, starting with Strange Nature when I was just out of school. We got a deal, made one album and toured with the Spin Doctors. Since splitting up in '95 I've concentrated on writing and music production, but still play live and in the studio as a drummer, guitarist, bassist, harmonica(ist), vocalist, keyboardist, engineerist, mixerist and programmerist! ..... Artists I've written songs for, produced and/or performed with include Newton Faulkner, Nerina Pallot, The Bluetones, U2, Journey South, Razorlight, Lucie Silvas, Busta Rhymes, The Vessels, Kicks, Ricky, Mohair, The Dub Pistols, Two Lone Swordsmen (Andrew Wetherall & Keith Tenniswood), Judie Tzuke,The Lights, Hannah Jane Fox, The Somatics, Damian Wilson, Ronan Keating, Kiosk, Claire Nicolson, Winter Roberts, Beau Monde, Emma Rohan, Steve Robson, Cheryl Parker, Crispin Hunt, Sara Ecker, Jamie Hartman, Aruba Red, Ed Sheeran, Lissie. If you're interested in a co-write or production, or just wanna get in touch, please feel free.
