About Me

RUIN MAGAZINE has been covering the extreme to mainstream metal scene since 2006 in a bi-monthly publication. The best part is that RUIN is FREE and widely available across the entire nation! We here at RUIN like our music heavy and loud. That is exactly why we decided to push the envelope and deliver a metal magazine that offers more to you, the metal fan. In each issue expect in depth interviews with today's metal warriors, a TON of CD Reviews, short stories, DVD and Video Game reviews, and a slew of exclusive photos of your favorite bands. Please contact us about new bands and what you think about heavy music in general. Also, we are always open to suggestions. We would love to hear for every single one of you crazy people. One last note: Trust me when I say that we ARE the future of metal magazines.

My Interests

Anything with the words HEAVY, METAL, CORE, ROCK and ROLL. I think any combinations of those words pretty accurately describes our interests. Feel free to add THRASH, GRIND, POWER or any other word that sounds loud and/or dirty. We also tend to enjoy movies, food, video games, books, short stories and walks on the beach at sunset.

I'd like to meet:

Metal Heads, people who like LOUD music, freaks, preps, your mom, Rock and Rollers of all shapes and sizes, big plates of nachos. You.

This Myspace page is brought to you by the letters F, U, C and Melissa . Feel free to drop her a line. She doesn't bite.....hard. Just be careful with the "you suck" comments. She tends to challenge people to duels. No one has survived.

Music:

We are not going to list a million bands here. RUIN Magazine does not want to single anyone out. It's kind of like a bad Oscar acceptance speach....someone always ends up getting left out. We support all heavy music. That includes everything from fancy overproduced metal acts to the kids jamming out on Peavy amps in their parents basement. We think you all rule. Also, many of the staff here tend to listen to some pretty wussy shit from time to time. With that said we predict that NSync will make the comeback of the century. Seriously. Just wait. It's gonna happen. I promise.

Movies:

Anything is worth watching at least once. Hell, RUIN RICK owns all the Olsen twin movies on VHS. He's so metal.

Television:

FUSE
Headbangers Ball
Much Music
Music Choice

Books:

RUIN MAGAZINE. That counts as a book, right? No? Well fuck you.
