Travel! I have seen a lot of places in the world; England, Scotland, Wales, France, Spain, Panama, Turkey...I just recently returned from an adventure in Egypt down the Nile. Cairo, Luxor, Edfu, Komombo, Aswan, and Alexandria...my adventurous spirit has been reawakened, and I cannot wait to plan my next trip somewhere exciting, maybe India or Italy. Other interests include: Crossword puzzles, Scrabble, feeling the soil in my fingers while gardening (herbs and fresh-picked summer tomatoes...the best), cooking, yoga, knitting, writing poetry, reading (I have a serious weakness for buying books), painting, drawing, art museums, movies, laughing about weird random things with my weird random family members, remembering my dreams when I wake up in the morning, sitting in a warm house with a cup of herbal tea and watching the snow fall, black and white photographs, windchimes tinkling a mournful tune, new shoes, old houses, the feeling of deja vu, creepy vintage toys, the smell in the air after a summer thunderstorm, scooping spiders up and taking them outside instead of squishing them, ghost stories, back scratches, taking naps on rainy afternoons, sitting by the campfire, singing in the car, warm laundry, looking at the mountains under the glow of a full moon, smelling freshly mown summertime grass, the sound of crickets, stargazing, bubble baths, autumn leaves crunching beneath my feet, New York City, Trivial Pursuit, Farmer's Market, Shakespearean Festival, the ocean (Cannon Beach, Oregon), red bell peppers, sushi, cheese, good coffee, good wine, and good conversation.

My dislikes include: Porcelain faced antique dolls with itty bitty teeth (they bite you when you fall asleep at night), ventriloquist dummies, the sound of a dentist's drill, Lady Elaine Fairchild from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood of Make Believe (she gave me nightmares), and Mr. Peanut. My god, never trust a peanut wearing a monocle and a top hat.
A butcher, a baker, a candlestick maker, poets, artists, dreamers...I am really open to meeting all kinds of people. Drop me a line sometime. I would like to meet other like-minded kindrid spirits to share this wild ride called life. Oh, and Barry Gibb.
