WHEN IT COMES TO DEATH, THIS BAND IS ONE OF THE BEST THAT HAS SURVIVED THE TRUE TEST OF METAL---- TIME. SPECIAL THANKS TO BEEF STUDIO! Review by Darron Foraday at www.rawore.com - Posted on Friday, May 20 @ 08:44:14 PDT by siteadmin If and when this band gets signed, well. I will probably rush home, kick the door in, and gather all my pennies and nickles I have saved for my next oil change and filter. And spend it on the release. Like Deeds of Flesh with a Ph.D., these demos rip through a churning and brutalality in the classic North American style of death metal. Taking metal's exploration of chaos toward a further point of existence with older death metal and fusing it with todays generation. A must get. Now availible in the downloads section. Get it Now! Review by Moshplanet.com - Pete www.lowtwelve.com www.heavycore.net Slamming it with a metal vengeance from South Carolina is Meat Curtain with one hell of a brutal cd entitled "The Unrelenting EP". The production is very good, while the cover art and packaging is very simple but evil and wicked nonetheless. The musicianship on this 4-song EP is strong and blends together to form a brick wall for any unsuspecting poser to run themselves into. MeatCurtain shows off their metal knowledge by drawing upon a multitude of influences, ranging from old Obituary, to Cannibal Corpse, to even a little Slayer tossed in for good measure. They definitely have a unique sound that encompasses a variety of metal styles. The drummer was exceptional with one of the best drum sounds I've heard in a while, and the guitar player just shreds the frets with precision for the entire cd. The bass playing was bottom pounding all the way and the vocals were very wicked - with a deep growl that expanded into some wicked mid range power. Very good shit. I liked the "War Machine" track the best - some serious mosh pit music. Definitely check out MeatCurtain if you've got a craving for some good metal with a death/grind edge at www.meatcurtain.net - http://theautopsyreport.heavymetalradio.net The Unrelenting EP Meatcurtain rating ***** Hailing from the USA, Meatcurtain are a band influenced by 90's death metal and they successfully fuse it with the styles of today. A brutal, vicious, unrelenting attack of sound that certainly shows through on their aptly titled CD; The Unrelenting EP. Four songs of audio decapitation that drill in to your skull and suck out your brains with their precisely programmed blast beats, gut wrenching guitars and grating death growls. Recorded in the band's own studio; BEEF STUdio, they certainly show aplomb not only with mastery of their instruments and song writing, but also with a great skill in studio engineering. The Unrelenting EP is a fist that pounds unrelentingly in to your face. Go to www.meatcurtain.net and obtain a copy. Track list: Grotesque Veils Destroying Angel War Machine Latency Current line-up: Steven Wooten - vocals, guitars and programming Jason Ballew - backing vocals, guitar and programming Alex Klarman - bass - MeatCurtain-A fucking awesomely brutal death metal band from Greenville with nasty vokills and face-melting solos. Here's hoping you fuckers find a drummer SOON that can keep up with the relentless onslaught!
