Who am I huh?
You know I've been on Myspace here for a long time but I've never filled out this section... I guess I feel like telling you a bit about me today.I'm Carrie and I'm a Leo through and through.
Music is a huge part of my life. I have been part of the local music scene behind the scenes for as long as I can remember. I play the bass but not enough (too busy I guess). I love all kinds of music but Punk and Metal are the genres I'm most involved in. Rockabilly is probably my favorite though. I learned to appreciate music from my best friend in Highschool she taught me so much about what was out there, I trully learned alot from her (still do from her beautifully articulate blogs).I've always wished I could write well but I have a very hard time translating my thoughts to words. I do like to talk a bit (hehe)and I have MC'd a few events now and I really enjoyed it, I hope to do more of this.I work at a Dog Kennel and I think Dogs are superior beings. Humans suck! Dogs won't cut each others throats just to make themselves feel more important. I love working outside, I've done many different jobs in my life but I enjoy what I do now most of all.I'm a pagan, have been since I was about 13. I've explored many different religions with an open mind but found that the old Earth Based religions ring most true to me. I've always been very private about my beliefs because I don't feel the need to defend them to anyone. I belive the words "An it harms none do what thou wilt" to the fullest. The teachings of Buddha also speak to my soul. Strive to reach your highest potential in this plane and in the next.I'm very politically minded. Government should stay out of our personal lives and stop telling us what we can and can't do with our own bodies. Again the words "An it harms none do what thou wilt" come into play here. But I know that this will not be possible as long as a few individuals have the power to make money off the suffering of others. Money is the biggest source of evil in our world. It all comes back to this. We would not hurt our Mother Earth like we do if there was not money to be made from it.I think that respect is a force that makes our world work. If you can't earn and give respect to those you care about than you have nothing...
People who understand Respect don't do fucked up shit to each other. If you loose my respect you are lost in my eyes. I can be quick to judge but I try to see everything around me with and open heart and open eyes. Not much gets past me.Anyway I'll add to this probably soon, but here is a bit of who I am. Don't try to define me , you'll be wrong.
