Hey MySpace...I'm Quinn from Manchewster, New Hempshire. 39 Yrs old.
I have been involved in the New England local music scene for more than twenty years, and have played bass for a number of bands. My first band Whiskey River Band formed in the Late 80's with two high School friends Carl & Jesse. We started out playing partys for Free Beer and work our way to a couple hundred dollar a night shows.the band split up around 1996. (***Update*** on Aug 25th 2007 Carl, Jesse & I Returned to the Stage and played about an Hour set to all our Old Friends & Fans.) I took a couple years off from playing shows. Then in 2000 I was recruited by the MacNeill brothers and we formed the Livestock Prospectors. We recording 1 CD which feature a song I co-wrote with Rich MacNeill called "Ten Feet Tall". We Received airplay on 100.3 Wheb and Tons on the web. Our Disk was available at Bull Moose Music, Newbury Comics and a bunch small music stores in the area.
The Band Split in 2005 (**Update** we recently had a reunion show and there are talks of more.)In late 2004 I knew LSP was falling apart. So I went looking for something New. From an AD at Daddy's junkie music I met Guitarist Zenfin and we formed Demiurge. Demiurge played tons of shows all around New England & New York. We also got the opportunity to open for a dozen or so great national acts. I left the band in 2007 because of Money and Musical Differences. I'm currently the bassist for Habitual Offendaz, one of NH's hottest metal acts.
H.O. has only been together for fourteen months but has gathered a huge number of fans. We practice at our Guitarist Wayne-0's house in Windham, which we nicknamed The Compound. We have played a number of shows in the past year, and are gearing up for the upcoming year. For booking info contact Habitual Offendaz via Myspace- www.myspace.com/habitualoffendaz.com
2008- Check out my new Project Raising the Sun. I'm back with my old friends Rich & Ronnie from the Livestock Prospectors and Dave and Jeff from Fixhate. Our friends call it Stoner Rock. We just call it Raising the Sun. Visit the band at www.myspace.com/nhstonerrock
I also run DeadAnt Productions, a booking/promoting company for local bands.
