Playing video games of all kinds, though I'm not real interested in sports video games. I am an admitted WoW geek, and probably spend too much time on there. I play Halo 3 online, you may have seen me, Paladin90. ^.^ New fan of Rock Band - I'm the resident bassist. I also like to write, read, draw, spend time outdoors (camping, hiking, playing with bugs, etc). Tarantulas are the coolest pet ever!!! I love to bake, mostly cookies, I make a killer Peanut Butter Blossom, and my frosted sugar cookes are in high demand. And, I like to hug my dog!
Well, I've already met the best person in my life (my husband), so other than that, there's really no celebrities or anything I'd like to meet. I do, however, want to meet just regular people who are fantastic and have great personalities! If you would like to be my friend, please just send a message, telling me a little about yourself! I love music with great vocals and great instrumentals. Some examples are Nightwish, E Nomine, etc. I also like most rock/metal such as Slipknot, Metallica and Atreyu. One of my favorite bands is a "Christian" rock band, Blindside, and I have just about every CD they have released. I despise Rap/R&B and I find Country music equally intolerable.
My absolute favorite kind of movies are just about anything Anime. Some of my favorites are Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, and Vampire Hunter D. I also like Sci-fi, such as Star Wars, mostly the original three. I enjoy fantasy movies too, I really love the LOTR trilogy, especially the extended edition. And I enjoy the action, drama and tragedy of Chinese films such as Hero, House of Flying Daggers and Curse of the Golden Flower.
Some of my television series don't make it to American channels, but my favorite TV series are some of the anime ones such as Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hellsing, Outlaw Star and Gundam Wing. I also enjoy the comedy shows on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Family Guy makes me giggle, as does Futurama (good news, everyone!).
Edgar Allen Poe!!! His poems and stories are deep and sometimes dark and mysterious, but he held women in high regard and oftentimes wrote of love and loss. So, his literature speaks to me on many levels.
My number 1 hero is Jesus, who died for us so selflessly. But most people don't recognize Him or care about Him. So...as far as what most people call a hero, I would say any of the great people out there that dedicate themselves to improving the lives of other people or animals. They may not have amazing powers, but they do have amazing strength of will and spirit and to me, those are the greatest heroes of all.
