"Sucsess is like a stone blood, it will only go as far as you wanna throw it ya get me".HAYZE A.K.A. Dean Hayes was born Christmas day in Liverpool 1987. He was moved from pillar to post as a child "Man I remember movin like 3 times before I was even 7 ya get me it was fuckin crazy". At age 8 Deans father and two brothers Michael and Brian left the house after an argument broke out between both parents, leaving Dean and his sister Jane with there mother. "Yeah it was just me and J.B. for a fuckin long time blood, so I have got that bond with her still coz she is my little sister an I looked after her while mum got pissed ya know what I mean." At the age of 9 Dean received word that his best friend at the time Max Murphy was dead. "I still remember every detail of that day ya get me, shit like that stays with you blood, my man was dead I was heartbroken." By the age of 11 Deans mum had re-married and the couple wanted to move the family to Essex where her new husband was raised. "I was like fuck it new start, any wares better than hear." But things went wrong for them and instead of Essex the ended up in a bed and breakfast in Southampton. "Basically yeah we were staying in our aunties drum for a few days in Andover while mum sorted things with the council in Essex. Then next thing I know 5 in the morning mum is screwin my aunty wants us to get the fuck out of her house, and she wants my step dad to STAY! we spent 8 hours at a fuckin train station before the Andover council shipped us to Southampton,blood I wouldn't piss on my aunty if she was on fire after that I swear down." The family stayed in the bed and breakfast for a few weeks before being transfered to there own maisonette in Townhill Park. "I remember thinking man I'm from Liverpool this place is fuckin tame compared." It was here at a local youth center Dean began to develop himself as an M.C. "All the man were spittin bars off the top of the head which was cool for about a week then you would hear the same old tired lines droning back in, so i thought fuck it I'm gunna show you what its about. I went home and never left my room for a week solid blood, basically what i did was I started writing clash bars against any man in there that could chat. I was like fuck you come back from this, i took all those pages in to the youth center and started gunnin man one after the other, no one said shit back, they were done I had the crown that was that." But it wouldn't stop there the director of the youth center saw potential in him and arranged studio time for him. "Yeah blood she hooked me up with a producer who gave me my first taste of recording music and that was it from then on thats the only place i wanted to be, man i craved that shit like crack heads need the pipe I swear down" At the age of 16 he began building his own studio and recording his sister who was beginning to show a lot of potential as a singer. "Nowadays I'm spittin on pro tools blood ya get me, but back then man I was spittin vocals into a fuckin internet mic and making beats on dance fuckin ejay It was a bad waistmans set up but fuck it it's all I had init. I also started to realize that my sister Jane was becoming a sick singer I'm talkin melt mans heart good, so we started recording shit an people liked how it sounded, but we weren't interested in brother sister shit we were doing our own thing." Now he is currently working with local kids producing music with them as well as making his own steps toward success.
