About Me

I love people who give a good solid high five every now and then. I love the smell of suntan lotion because it's a sign that something fun is happening, especially if that fun involves a water balloon launcher or me shooting Chelsea with a bow and arrow. I love crappy dancers that dance all night, anyone who can play the violin, and little kids that do the Harlem shake. I love manatees, spagetti sauce, and ridiculous hats that I'll never wear but have to buy because they're in the shape of a dinosaur or a lightning bolt. I love Hawaii, a good bagel and hash (any good Saxon knows what that means), and the fact that "Drop it like it's Hot" is always playing somewhere in the house. I love that I've loved the same friends since I was 15, and know that any one of them would answer the war cry in times of danger. I'm not that into soagy bread, people that litter, trench warfare, the phrase "Visa vie", the outer pieces of a head of lettuce, and atms that only give out pesos. However, I can't stand it when people talk during the National Anthem, especially if they're wearing a wave cap or a "99% angel, 1% bitch" t-shirt while they do it.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I would meet the creator of Magic Eye so that I can kick him in the shins because I can never tell that the blurry picture is actually a monkey on a pogo stick until Meagaan tells me what it is, and even then I can't see it.

Music:

Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye anyone Motown-ish. Gladys, gotta have some Gladys. Billy Joel, Elton John and inappropriate rap. Dj Quik, Luda, Snoop a Loop. I'm getting tired of taking it to the candy shop.

Movies:

The American President, The Usual Suspects, Weekend at Bernie's (yeah that's right, it's a classic!) Love Actually, Leathal Weapon 3, Field of Dreams, and anything involving Will Ferrell..."Frank the Tank!"

Television:

THe West Wing, Friends, Seinfeld, Weeds, Saturday Night Live, Prison Break, of course, Freaks and Geeks...R.I.P. I'm also trying to overcome my fear of little people by watching Little People, Big World. I think it's helping.

Books:

A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, All God's Children, The Hours, This is the Beat Generation, Live from New York It's Saturday Night. Reading Dirty Havana Trilogy right now. Cuba is freaking me out.
