It sure seems Like we are revisiting the "about me" column doesn't it? Oh well, why not. I have a deep interest in medicine. Since I waited so long to get my act straight I fear that I blew my chance at med-school, so the next best thing is business school and on to selling orthopedic hadware. i recently aquired some contacts in the medical sales field, and would like to make some good money. Of course I mentioned in the general collumn my love for music, but let me elaborate. I am a self taught musician. I taught myself guitar at the age of 14, and recently picked up the drums, and have an amazing natural aptitude for them. So I spend alot of my spare time studying and practicing them. Working out is another staple in my life. I am constantly reevaluating my fitness goals, but I think I finally settled on distance athlete. Cycling, running, and swimming. Tri-athlons are next. I will lift just enough weights to maintain good muscle tone, but I am over tryingto be "swole". I guess my other main focus is maintaining a healthy diet. I shop at Whole Foods and do my best to eat all natural, all organic. NO trans fats or preserrvatives. Okay you get picture of who I am.
I'd like to meet:
People who add to life. There are too many people who take, take, take and never repay. I absolutely don't look up to celebrities or anything like that, so I'd like to meet people who are mentally stimulating. People who love life and have some kind of game plan. a sense of humor is a must!!!!
Music:
Okay, music is a huge part of my life, and I like just about everything except rap(the Beastie Boys is the only exception) and all country. My favorite stuff is really heavy. TOOL, Kyuss, Fumanchu, Electric Wizard, Dozer, Clutch, Tradgedy, At the Gates, Arsis, Emperor, Behemoth, The Black Dahlia Murder, Iron Monkey, As I Lay Dying, Zao, Orange Goblin, In flames, Sleep, High On Fire, The Hidden Hand, Sunn-O, Goatsnake, Botch, His hero is Gone, Deathreat, From Ashes Rise, The Holy Mountain, Nebula, Isis, Pelican, Dillenger escape plan, Pantera, Superjoint Ritual, Down, Mastodon, System Of A Down, Soulfly, Sepultura, Mudvayne, Lamb of God(Burn the Priest), 311, Sublime, Mogwai, Queens Of The Stone Age, NEUROSIS, A Perfect Circle. I could go on forever. Lately I've really gotten into the Swedish Metal, and I just went through a huge doom/stoner metal phase.
Movies:
I love comedies! Will Farrel, TALADEGA NIGHTS!!! ANCHORMAN!!!(Elf was funny) Dave Chappelle Rules! I love laughing! I'll watch anything that is done well. Favorites- Apocalypse Now, The Salton Sea, Fight Club, Kalifornia, Spun, Trainspotting, Requiem For a Dream, Heat, Scarface, A Clockwork Orange, The Wall, Full Metal Jacket, American Beauty Jacobs Ladder, Meet the Parents. I like to go to the movies!
Television:
Comedy central- the daily show, southpark, etc. my favorite channels are the national geographic channel and the History channel. Southpark and The Chappelles Show. HBOs Deadwood, and Band of Brothers.
Books:
I have read alot of non-fiction, so I am filled with useless information. Also the literary greats. Steinbeck is a favorite.
Heroes:
