Hektah’s origins are in the west Yorkshire town of Huddersfield, where from an early age his passion for music has been nurtured. A stint on pirate radio alongside Super dark, an established DJ and producer, marked his first foray into performingHektah then went on to play private parties, as well as cutting his teeth on the production side, experimenting with like minded friends. From this point on he has been working hard to pursue his dream of making a successful music career and building a formidable reputation.From strength to strength Hektah has gone on to create an impressive catalogue of music, mixing and remixing different genres of music, ultimately creating a distinctive sound of his own.2007 has been a very productive year for Hektah during which he has enjoyed realising his artistic potential and creative ability. Masses of widespread interest has been generated and with positive feedback from BBC Ixtra DJs to underground raves and pirate stations, Hektah is on his way to cementing his place on the British dance scene.Now with a catalogue of various sounds, Hektah is focused on bringing his own unique style to the forefront and taking 2008 by storm.
