Sheri Lifesaver

I've been writing poetry since high school. I started attending poetry readings after college. I like reading things that make people laugh. If you read something that's supposed to be deep, you never know if anyone really gets it. Are they in deep thought, contemplating your poetry? Are they half asleep? Are they making out their grocery list in their mind? If you write something that's meant to be funny, and they laugh - they got it! At least on some level. Maybe there's a deeper meaning to my stuff. Or maybe not. You decide.
