My Interests

Apart from the stuff that I do and am passionate about... I enjoy a good old Opera and Classical music... I'm a yoga guy (ashtanga mostly) ... Love the outdoors ... Can't think now but I'm sure my interests aren't that narrow...

I'd like to meet:

Fellow Artists, actors, writers and such - I'm opening a theatre company at the moment so am very much concentrating on that... so anyone with the same passion could be lovely...and of course - good, sane folk are always welcome.

Music:

From Bird to Dvorak, Bellini, Berlioz and Faure to Britten skipping up to Porter, Coward - Ella and Holliday, some Sinatra to Jefferson Starship, Roberta Flak, good old Whitney and of course high quality Music Theatre - Sondheim is my weakness - I won't mention on-line however my fondness for The Minogue - I've said too much...

Movies:

Little Miss Sunshine - a perfect wee modern film...Dolores Claiborne...Classic BBC adaptations of Chekhov and The Bard etc...Whatever happened to Baby Jane? ...The Little Foxes... Shining Through with Douglas and Griffiths, Gielgud and Joely Richardson - underrated, brilliant spy flick - watch it on a rainy Sunday with someone you love being with! Also, anything with Audrey Tatou or Cate Blanchett...

Television:

Eastenders - the Omnibus on a Sunday is one of the things I most miss about being in the UK - a few Hobnobs and a pot of assam - Phil and Peggy...Bliss. Ab Fab and The Office (Brit version!) two of TV greats...This Life (a UK show) was amazing...French & Saunders, Ruby Wax...ooh, I'm getting teary-eyed...Also loved BBC Radio Plays - No 'radio:' section on MySpace...ah technology...no need for the simple pleasures...

Books:

Re-reading the Shakespeare Canon...First Folio.

Heroes:

My mother and my partner
