At the young age of 20, she has already had the fortune of singing, writing and recording with legendary icons & very talented musicians in the industry.Sara is no stranger to the stage as she has starred in multiple theatrical shows. One of her auditions lead her to be one of the few showcased at the N.C. playhouse’s “Stars of Tomorrow.†Her formal instruction of music and passion to sing, lead her to produce a demo CD, which fell into the hands of John Carter Cash. As she packed her bags to begin a degree in theater, she received a phone call from Nashville. On the other end of the phone was legendary, Johnny Cash’s son – John Carter Cash. John, asked to produce a CD for Sara. He stated to her mom, “Her voice is very mature and powerful for her age; I can’t imagine what she will sound like as she reaches her prime.†Country was deep in her heart and she flew to Nashville to get to work in the studio. She was overwhelmed as Cash brought in the best studio musicians to play on her CD. Musicians like Jamie Hartford, who was the guitarist that played the actual guitar parts for the movie “Walk the line.†They collaborated together on the choice of songs and then John and Sara wrote a song together, “Paint by Number Dreams†on the CD. Her first writing experience and teaching came from John. “It was a dream to be in a studio that was shared by legendary artist and friends of Johnny Cash,†states Sara.Sara has since continued to write with the talented “songwriting team†of Jim Sabatini and Jerry Romeo as they are opening up for National Recording artists such as Ricochet, Paul Scott and members of The Outlaws. She is writing/recording and performing as she gains experience and steals the hearts of many. Sara is small in stature but explodes with energy on stage! She appreciates the support from her family, friends, promoters, producers and musicians as she follows her dreams to become a National Recording Artist.
