Hello there, my name is Douglas "The Big Radio Star" James. I started my radio career here at K105 in 1981... but don't let that fool you I'm a young guy. I did, however, leave for a short period of time to be with the Ringling Brothers circus as a clown... but, things just didn't work out. I begged to come back, and I haven't looked back ever since, I love waking up every weekday morning and spending it with Mary Ann.... she brings me coffee and a grand breakfast (if she feels like it) while we give you your continuous country favorites and real country variety. Thanks to me, MaryAnn and I were nominated in 2004 for the CMA small makert personality of the year, without me, we wouldn't have been considered. I grew up in East Palestine, but I was too popular there... so my parents packed up and moved to New Middletown to get away from all the fame their young son brought so I could concentrate on my studies... and I graduated from Springfield Local. In my spare time I enjoy listening to K105, yard sales, trying to work on my many clunker vehicles, and bargain hunting. I also have a beautiful wife, Arlene... who I thank for putting up with me... a daughter and a son. I want to personally thank each and every one of you that tune in every morning and start your day with the us!

I grew up in a very small town outside of Telluride, Colorado called Norwood. So small, that K-12 was in the same building when I was there. So, I grew up in the mountains and had a full beard by the time I was 4. Built a log cabin when I was four and a half, caught fish with may bare hands and made my own clothes so I could live off the land and be a man, you know, build things with dirt and eat raw meat... run around in the dead of winter with nothing on but a loin cloth. I even wrestled a grizzly bear at when I was five years old. For the most part, the first sentence is true, and everything else is about Doug. I have been on the radio in just about all 50 states... I started out my long radio career in Colorado. After I graduated high school it was off to Kansas City for Electrical Engineering at DeVry Institute of Technology. Needless to say, I am not one to sit behind a desk all day and design circuit boards to I landed a job at Q105 in Kansas City. From there, it was off to Manhattan, Kansas, where I started a new radio station B104.7. I love the smell of moving trucks... so I moved to Lincoln, Nebraska; South Bend, Indiana; Baton Rouge, Lousiana; and Morgantown, West Virginia. Now, I am here in K-Country on K105 as Program Director (the boss) and love it! The people in this town are great, despite of what people live here say... it's very nice. I have a great wife and 2 beautiful daugthers... and I am also a firefigther for Poland, Ohio. The best hang out spot in K-Country is the Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown, I am usually there every Friday night for some reason!
Burton Lee - Nights: 7PM-12AM

You can tune in and listen to me try to impress you from 7PM-12AM during the week...actually, I've had just about every shift at K105 imaginable. I grew up in Pittsburgh and now reside in Columbiana County. I enjoy just about all kinds of sports, from archery to water polo. I have a lot of awesome skills, other than being on the radio... I enjoy bow hunting, showing off my sweet knumbchuck moves, and lumber jacking in the backwoods of Columbiana County. I am happily married to my wife Patty and have 2 adopted stray cats... in our neighborhood, it's a way of life! . I love radio and thank each and everyone one of you for listening to K105 and making my show #1 for nights in the area! At 9PM I start up the K-Country Nightclub for all of the late night owls who want to jam to the hottest songs in country music. Also, when I am out on the streets of K-Country, don't be shy... I don't bite... come up and tell me who you are and what song I can play for you next time I am on! I hope to hear from you soon ... by phone or email... let me know what I can do for you... cuz I got the skills to make it happen!

I grew up listening country music in the 90's, that's all I listen to, and I love it! For the past 3 years I have went to the CMA Music Festival (Fan Fair) in Nashville, TN... Nashville is my home away from home, being that I have family that lives there as well.
