Band was formed in the early autumn of 2002. The line-up has never been changed and the band is performing in it’s original form ever since. The very first rehearsals were played with a single electric guitar and it’s 20W Marshall amplifier, one acoustic and old drums, but fairly quickly band got support from a few older guys and their (nowadays former) bands like Learning English, No idea...which resulted with first serious rehearsals. In a very short time band recorded and self-released their first demo called simply “Demo 1â€, which helped them to play first gigs outside their hometown of Osijek! In the following period number of gigs increased and Diverzija toured most parts of Croatia and also played some great gigs in Serbia, while finishing new material in the meantime. September of ’05. was the time to hit the studio for their first full-length. Album was recorded and produced by Filip Sertic (from Lo-- Primjer and Dislike) in his own Studio Depth, Po--ega and was released in late 2005.! After releasing first full-length band became more serious and played some bigger gigs and festivals.
From the very beginning of their work Diverzija tended to point out the relevance of music’s strength for changes which finally comes to first plan in their new songs. New album is expected to be direct, raw, socially engaged and musically blasting! It’s supposed to be recorded this autumn…until then- stay tuned!
